📚 Last week, Mrs. Utterback, Principal of HMS, brought her expertise to Mrs. Fenton and Mrs. Drennan’s Advanced ELA class, guiding them through the art of analyzing informational text. 📝
The students soaked up valuable insights and enjoyed every moment of the learning process. 💡 Thank you, Mrs. Utterback for sharing your teaching strategies! 🖤❤🏴☠️

Adventure Awaits in Panama
Dear families,
Your student is invited to join us on an upcoming educational travel experience to Panama in Summer 2025!
When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and I would love to have your student join me on this adventure.
Come hear all the details, including the itinerary, activities, academic opportunities, the cost of the trip and EF’s risk-free enrollment period at our informational meeting on February 13th at 5:30pm.
The meeting will take place the HMS Cafeteria. Please click here to register for the meeting ASAP to save your spot: https://bit.ly/48Rpib3
There are limited spots on this trip, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
Please contact me at merskine@hannibal60.com with any questions.

🏴☠️️🎉A huge shout out to our dedicated HMS teachers for receiving a Difference Maker Certificate! Students take the time to fill out a form to give a shout out to a teacher that has made a difference in the classroom. The certificate states the student name and how their teacher made an impact on them.
🏴☠️️🤩Congratulations to Mrs. Sone, Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Feith, Mrs. Haganah, Ms. Erskine, Mr. Ian, Mrs. Mueller, Ms. Summers, Mr. Fuller, and Mrs. Fenton.
