Dress up with us this week, and consider sending in a donation to benefit United Way's Everyone Can Help Someone campaign. 💙🏴☠️
United Way of the Mark Twain area provides funding and additional support to many local nonprofit organizations in our community. Most of which serve HPS student and families, including our own HAYS, and Hannibal Parents as Teachers!

We have a lot going on this month at Veterans! Next week begins our United Way campaign. Here are the dress up days for all staff and students., regardless of donations.
We're still going strong with our can food drive! That will run this week and next. Any items would be greatly appreciated!
Veterans, we say THANK YOU for your service to our country! Third graders will honor veterans tomorrow at their program led by Mrs. Shaw at 10 am. All students are asked to wear red, white and blue! 🇺🇸
Monday, November 11th we will be having chicken patties instead of pork steaks.
Next week begins our Can Food Drive! See the attached for how you can support our local community.
🎶 Congratulations to these talented HPS students for being chosen to sing in Missouri's All State Children's Choir next spring! They will perform at Margaritaville for the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference in January! 🎵

Want to fill a teacher's cup?
Some of you may be hearing about an RSP at conferences. A Reading Success Plan is a requirement from Missouri's Department of Education to inform parents about their child's reading progress and any holes that need to be filled. Questions? Please ask your child's teacher.
3rd grade has been learning about voting all week. We read and learned about two candidates “Duck for President” and “Grace for President.” After learning about voting all week, we had an election today and each student was able to vote. More pics to come...
More pictures from the election! We also used Venn Diagrams to compare the two candidates! We then created a bar graph over our results from the voting! Congratulations to the new president!
Fundraiser pick up is TODAY, October 17, 3:30-6:00p.m. You can park in our front lot and go in the art room doors. There will be signs directing you where to go. Please do not park in the circle drive as we'll still have buses coming through. Thank you!
