✈️Teacher Appreciation week is traveling fast! Yesterday, our Leaders of the Crew served an "in-flight" lunch with sandwiches, chips, and dessert to HMS faculty and staff.

💬 HMS students competed in the Mahan speech competition. Students chose topics, wrote argumentative speeches, practiced their speeches, and presented their speeches to judges. Students were able to showcase their public speaking, delivery, and writing skills in the competition.


🏴☠️️HMS ended Friday with a Spring Pep Assembly. During the assembly, we announced our HMS track team, new cheer squad, Mahan Speech winners, and math competition participants.
🏴☠️️It was a fun time singing our school song, listening to our jazz band, and playing games against Crews and teachers! Our 6th grade teachers and Leaders of the Crew put on a great pep assembly!




Math students were playing Where’s Waldo on the Coordinate Plane.





This years 5th graders met Mrs. Shinkle, their 6th grade counselor, to discuss their schedules for the 2023-2024 school year. They have the links to enroll in their classes. Please help them plan for next year. Their schedule requests are due on April 7th.
