The Hannibal School District has recently hired MSBA to support the search for a new district superintendent. The search will begin immediately and conclude with the hire of a new successful leader. Your feedback regarding what "desired qualifications" are most important for this position will ensure the new hire is a good fit for both the school district and community.

Stowell Chili Supper is Thursday 10/12. Dine in from 5-7pm. Pickup (in-car only) 4:30-6:30pm in the bus lane by the playground. Tickets and cash only.

🔬📚 Last week in Ms. Riley's STEM class at A.D. Stowell, kindergarteners and 1st-graders had a creative adventure!
🌟 They first read "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds. ✨ Students celebrated uniqueness, shared ideas, and got hands-on by decorating their very own dots. The extra magical part – was bringing those dots to life using augmented reality app! 🎨

🛠️Our talented students in Mr. Greening's Ag Construction Class have been hard at work making our schools even better! 🏫
Last week, the class took on a challenging project: assembling new playground equipment for the Parent Pay Program. 🔨
They're not just putting their learned skills to use by building playground equipment; they're also building memories and opportunities for some of our youngest pirates! 🏴☠️

Central Office Admin have been busy this week visiting all the schools; Mr. Sampson says the Parent Pay Classes (for HPS staff members) are off to a great year too! 🎉

❤ Shouting a heartfelt THANK YOU to the Riedel Foundation for awarding HAYS $15,000 to go toward school supplies for students at the Back to School Fair, and helping address students' ongoing unmet needs throughout the academic year. 🏴☠️
This grant was INSTRUMENTAL in making our inaugural Back to School Fair a possibility.
We hope to see YOU at the Fair on Saturday, where our community partners will be distributing thousands of dollars in school supplies. ALL HPS students Pre-K- 12 grade are welcome!
