Hannibal Public Schools is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Hannibal Police Department to enhance safety in our schools through the 4E Active Threat Training program. This initiative is a key part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and community.
Recently, members of the Hannibal Police Department and district representatives completed training to become certified instructors in the 4E Active Threat program.
Over the past few days, during teacher workshops, we have conducted several training sessions with our staff. This training equips them with essential skills to respond effectively in the event of an active threat. Our goal is to have all staff trained by the end of the first semester.
We are proud to collaborate with the Hannibal Police Department on this important initiative. By providing these vital skills to our schools and community, we are working together to create a safer environment for everyone.
