Dear Hannibal School District Families,
I hope you’re having an enjoyable and restful summer break that is filled with cherished memories and exciting adventures! As we gear up for a new school year, I'm excited to welcome everyone back.
Our goal is to create an environment where each student thrives. Our devoted team has prepared diligently this summer to ensure that our school buildings are ready to welcome our students back and provide them with a high-quality education.
Check out the 2023-2024 Back-To-School Guide below for details on registration, supplies, meals, and more. We can’t wait to see you and welcome you back! Just a reminder that the first day of school is Wednesday August 23, 2023.

Online Registration For Current Students
The Hannibal School District is in the process of transitioning to a new student information system called Infinite Campus for the 2023-2024 school year. Infinite Campus is now active for parents/guardians to create their parent portal account. You should have received an email today week from Communications (firstname.lastname@example.org) regarding creating your new parent portal account.
After you have created your new parent portal accounts in Infinite Campus, you will now be able to complete the Online Student Registration for the 2023-2024 school year.
Online Student Registration Instructions:
Log in to your parent portal account in Infinite Campus (Click here for the Parent Portal Link) Click the “more” tab on the left side of the main page
Click on Online Registration Portal
Follow the required steps to complete the online registration
If you did not receive the email regarding Infinite Campus login info, please call your student's building; or send your name, your student(s) name, grade(s), and school name to email@example.com.
If you received the email, but are having difficulty creating your parent portal or registering your student, we have created a FAQ sheet that may help. If you don’t see a solution to your specific situation, please call your student’s building.
It may take some time to resolve and get your email added manually so we appreciate your patience!
Infinite Campus has a mobile app, called Campus Parents available for parents and guardians to use. Download your free app for real-time access to grades, assignments, attendance, schedules, announcements and more.
New families to the district will need to contact their child's school office to start the student registration process.

Free and Reduced Meal Application
With the new school year starting soon, the Hannibal School District is encouraging families to fill out the free or reduced meal application.
Parents are asked to fill out the Free and Reduced Meal Application for the 2023-2024 school year. The school district is encouraging all families to fill out an application. Even if you think your family won’t qualify, your application can help the school district in many different areas including federal funding and qualifying for grants. Completing an application is the only way to be considered for free or reduced meals.
You can turn in the completed form to your child’s school. If you have any questions regarding free or reduced meals or need assistance with filling out an application, please call food services at 573-221-2378.
If you have questions about bus routes or other school-related transportation matters, please contact the Transportation Center at 573-221-2604.
The Hannibal School District uses a variety of methods of communication to share school-related news, reminders and important information with parents/guardians and the community.
For parents/guardians with students in the district, it is important that you have a current email address and cell phone number in your student information system parent portal. Please check to make sure your contact information is up-to-date in your account so you are receiving all school-related communication from the district, building principals and your child’s teachers.
Important emails from the school district will be sent from the firstname.lastname@example.org email address.
The primary method of communication the district and school buildings use is email. The district and school buildings will also send text messages to parents/guardians about important reminders, time-sensitive updates and any other urgent matters. The district will only use automated phone calls for weather-related closing information and other urgent matters.
Other forms of communication the school district utilizes include the district’s website, www.hannibal60.com, Hannibal60 app, Pirate Pride E-Newsletter and the district’s social media accounts.

Student Immunization Requirements
Immunization requirements are determined by the State of Missouri. Students are required to receive immunizations, according to the schedule(s) listed below, and documentation of up-to-date immunizations must be submitted to your child’s school nurse PRIOR to attending school on his/her first day. If you have any questions, or if you need a copy of your child’s current shot record on file with the school, please contact the nurse in his/her building.
All students, regardless of grade level, must be up-to-date on their vaccinations prior to starting school each year (see links provided above).
All new/incoming preschool and kindergarten students must be up-to-date.
Students entering 8th grade are required to have updated Tdap (Tetanus) and MCV (Meningococcal) vaccines.
Students entering 12th grade are required to have two doses of the MCV (Meningococcal) vaccine. Note: If the first dose was administered after the student’s 16th birthday, only one dose is required.

The Hannibal School District has a mobile app to help students, parents and community members stay connected and informed with everything happening at all the schools from their phones. On the app, you can read the latest announcements, find staff contact information, view upcoming events, and see other important information. The Hannibal 60 app is available to download free from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
