Discipline

These are Room 169 Rules:
  1.  Treat everyone the way you like to be treated
2.  Always raise your hand and wait to be called on before you speak.
3.  Keep your hands and feet to yourself at ALL times.
4.  Be respectful to furniture and equipment.
5. Pay attention and always keep a good attitude.

These are the consequences in room 169 (should you make a bad choice):
    1.  Teacher will give a warning...verbal, "the eye", or a little tap.

    2.  Teacher will issue a yellow behavior slip and your parents are required to sign the slip and it is to be returned the next day.

    3. Should you get three yellow slips in one week you will be issued a Thursday After-School-Work Period.
These are from3:15-3:45 and your parents will arrange for transportation.

    4.  Should you continue to make bad choices, you and a referral will be sent to Mrs. Walker.

    * I believe that punishments should fit the crime.  Should a student be disrespectful or physically harm another student, their punishment may be different of more extreme.

*If you would like more information on our school discipline policy please email me or Mrs. Walker and request the information.

Also, rememeber the complete rule sheet that was sent home at he beginning of the year and each of you signed.  Please request another copy if you like.
