- Mrs. Claus sent Santa’s suit to the cleaners. It came back three sizes too
small. Santa is in need of a new
suit and fast.
- Your job is to design a new suit for him and write him a letter to
persuade him to choose the suit that you designed.

- Go to a letter writing site to know the parts of a friendly letter.

- Have an idea in your head of how you want Santa’s new suit to look. Now you need to open up the Paint
program on your computer and design a new suit for Santa. Remember to be creative. After you have drawn the suit you
want, come to me to print it.

- Go through your letter to make sure that you have all of the required
elements of a great letter. Check
off the ones that you have done correctly.
- Heading written correctly with capitals and commas and in the correct
spot
- Greeting written correctly
- Body – indented, capitalization, punctuation. Good persuasive paragraph
to get Santa to choose your suit.
- Closing written correctly
- Signature in cursive and print
- Good spelling is a must!
- Correct spacing between words
- Teacher permission to print letter
