About the Teacher

The 2009-2010 school year will be my fifth year at Hannibal High School. During my first four years at HHS I taught freshman social studies.  Beginning this year I will be the full-time Dean of Students. I currently coach Freshman Football and Varsity Shot Put and Discus at the high school.  My certification area is Secondary Social Studies.

Discipline

Students who are assigned discipline have three options for serving their assigned time.

 

                 >Private Dining Room (PDR) – Students receive credit for 25 minutes if they eat lunch in PDR. This option is available Monday - Friday

                 >Academic Extended Day (AED) –Students receive credit for 75 minutes if they attend AED. It is held in the HHS library from 2:45 -4:00                 Monday through Thursday. Students must be in the library before 2:45 or they will be turned away..

                 >Saturday detention – Students receive credit for 150 minutes. This is held each   Saturday. Saturday detention runs 7:30-10:00. Students must                  arrive before 7:30 or they will not be allowed to enter the building.
