New Semester Class - 2006

Introduction to the basics of Nuclear Science including:
Natural and Man-made Sources of Radiation
Nuclear Power
Nuclear Medicine
Nuclear Defense
Effects of Radiation on Living Organisms
Protective Measures
Radioactive Waste Disposal
This class includes field trips to Callaway Nuclear Plant in Reform, Missouri; 
MURR (University of Missouri Research Reactor);  and
Ellis Fischell Cancer Center in Columbia, MO.
