My life can be described as a race. I thoroughly enjoy being busy
and often consume myself with full-day activities that run the gammut of
household chores, errands, library visits, vacations, and family celebrations.
When I make myself slow down and relax, Ican be found poolside reading
the latest New York Times fiction bestseller in my backyard or taking in
a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game. My passions include reading,
music, swimming, board/mind games, good times with friends and family,
high school football, and Major League Baseball. I'm a big fan of
order and organization (although several friends find me very random at
times!) as most of my students learn on Day One. In fact, I've been
described as having acute obsessive-complusive disorder because I only
do things in 3's, 5's, or 7's.| On a serious note, I'm very enthusiastic about teaching English. It is my goal to not only teach students the necessary components of English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), but to instill in them a truer understanding of themselves as responsible young adults who will be poised to make their futures exciting while using skills learned in the English classroom. After all, these skills are life-long...no matter where you go, for instance, our nation will host an endless supply of McDonald's restaurants, and students will need the skills of reading, listening, and speaking to make their 500 calorie order! | ![]() |
