Dear Stowell Parents:
As we begin this journey together, I can’t express enough how excited I am to be the new principal of Stowell Elementary. Being in a brand new school brings with it a sense of pride. I hope that you will feel welcome as you become involved with your child’s experiences at Stowell Elementary School.
We have planned many activities for you to be involved. We will keep you informed of your child’s progress and school activities. Look for papers coming home from each school day-newsletters, invitations, updates, tips, and reminders.
Your communication with us is very important, too. Please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher, or me, whenever you have a question or concern. The school number is 573-221-0980.
I hope that you will take part in your child’s education by asking about their day at school. Ask them about their friends and teachers. Encourage your child to read at least 20 minutes every night.
Student learning and behavior go hand in hand. We are excited to be implementing PBS, Positive Behavior Support, at Stowell for the 2008-2009 school year. Check out our link on this website for more information.
