PLCs were an exciting but intimidating concept to think about.  I couldn't imagine how such a diverse staff could come together with one goal in mind.  This has been a difficult adjustment in many ways and it's been hard to get to the place where we are now.  It took a lot of confrontation and reality checks that were difficult to be a part of.   I know that we have further to go yet, but the team aspect and the focus we have on student achievement has been not only school changing, but life changing for me as a teacher as well.
