Spelling Bee 2007

Eugene Field spellers met for the annual competition on February 20.
We had a 2nd/3rd grade competiton, and a 4th/5th grade competition.

Cheyenne starts off the afternoon in round 1.

You might say there was tension in the air ...

 

He spells "anything" correctly.

The numbers have thinned out at this point.

 

At last -- only one remains. Juliette from the 5th grade.

 

All of the proud contestants receive their certificates of honor.

 

Juliette (1st) -------- Candace (2nd) -------- Cheyenne ( 2nd/3rd grade winner)

Juliette will compete at the next level in Quincy, Illinois!
