It’s Your Birthday

*    How can you use steps to solve a problem?

Instructional Strategies or Activities:

 

Have students write the months in order and then use these clues to find out when it’s your birthday.

 

1.    The month has less than three syllables.

2.    The month has an odd number of days, but your birthday is on an even day.

3.    The month does not end in y or begin with A.

4.    You were born in the first two weeks of the month.

5.    The date is a multiple of 2 and a factor of 8.
