Marking Multiples

 

Formative Assessment:

*      Who can count by 2’s to 50?

*      Who can count by 3’s to 30?

*      What are multiples?  Why are they important?

 

Instructional Strategies and Activities:

 

Reduce a hundreds chart until 4 can fit on an 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper.  Each student will complete a hundreds chart for the multiples of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12.  Each number will use a different hundreds chart.

Students label above the chart which number it is and then lightly shade all the multiples.  Keep for future use.

 

Summative Assessment:

 

Check each chart for accuracy.
